Hey I was wondering if anyone knew how to start a hydroponic plant? I have a beaker for it to go in, but I’m not sure how to get it started. Do I just plant a hydroponic plant (ie. tomatoes, spinach, lavender, catnip, etc) wait for it to grow, then pull a part off at the root and then stick it in water?

Best way I’ve found is washing ALLLLL the dirt off then trimming some of the roots not all but just so it’s not too many roots and it has ways to re root for it to adapt to hydroponics
