# I accidentally overwatered this when I fell asleep with a toddler…

I accidentally overwatered this when I fell asleep with a toddler last night and it sat in water overnight. This new leaf curled under!! Should I repot, even though I just did that recently? And is the curled leaf a goner?

Toddler just killed my peace Lily… I so can relate.

I’d wait it out a bit and see how the plant does. One overwatering shouldn’t cause too much damage and it’s not like it was sitting in water for several days… Philodendron are fairly Hardy

Leaving a plant in water overnight rarely causes overwatering, I’ve left plant in water for an entire workday several times (7 am-6 pm) and they’re completely fine with it, new leaves often do this before they gain the strength to stand up well :) all should be fine 🤍
