Alright Planta fam… I just preordered one of my wishlist plants… the beautiful Monstera Thai Constellation… they’re supposed to start shipping in June… that means I have 3 months to learn everything I need to know to help it live it’s best life… so, any and all advice is much appreciated. 😁

Don’t underestimate proper soil! It’s one of the most important things because Thai cons will rot really fast if your soil isn’t draining enough. If you have the right soil, everything else is easier.

Do you have a recommendation on a good soil? My current mix that i use is 40% soil, 20% perlite, 20% orchid bark, 10% charcoal…

I don’t use potting soil for any of my plants so I can’t recommend anything with it. I use coco coir with extra aerating amendments like charcoal, orchid bark, and #4 perlite. Also supplement with compost.
