# I noticed this little worm in my tomato plant soil… is this a tomato…

I noticed this little worm in my tomato plant soil… is this a tomato hornworm larvae or pot worm? looks a bit short to be a pot worm but want to make sure whatever it is…. that it’s not damaging to my tomato’s.

Hornworms are green and thick and I don’t think pot worms have segments like that. I’m not sure what type but Facebook groups are a good place to ask.

Neem oil is a cheap effective organic pesticide that has worked for me if it’s not a friend.
