# Looking for advice on my palm.. originally when I got her it was way…

Looking for advice on my palm.. originally when I got her it was way too much direct sun, hence the burnt and cut fronds. I have been unable to get her to open up the 2 fronds in the middle. Since she’s outside, planta doesn’t tell me to mist but I’m wondering if I should to increase the humidity for her. Helppp

I’m sorry to hear about the burnt fronds ☀️ this can happen when a plant hasn’t been acclimated to a new light exposure.  
How long have the unopened fronds been inactive? How much light does your plant currently get? What temperature is it growing in? 🌴

They’ve been unopened for quite a while! At least a few months for the smaller one. I think the tall one has been unopened since I got it last year. It’s getting bright indirect light and it lives outdoors in LA so currently in the 50s but hopefully soon will be consistently in 70s

I have a palm with stubborn unopened fronds too (indoors though)! It’s been doing nothing for months and I’m so frustrated by it!
