# I have a monstera and I know that they do best with a climbing pole…

_Posted by Jaelyn on 2023-02-06_

I have a monstera and I know that they do best with a climbing pole but I’ve never set one up before. I’m not sure where I sound get one, I’ve looked at Lowes which is where I get most of my plant stuff. So how would I go about making one or where would I be likely to find to buy them?

Amazon is a great place for moss poles! They have all sizes and even bendable ones

Oh fun! There are so many ways to support your Monstera 😃 You can go with anything from a moss pole to bamboo stakes in tipi style or a lattice. If you would like to make your own moss pole there are of course several ways to do this as well (examples: with moss and a stick + a string and wrapping the moss around it OR using a net and just placing the moss and stick inside it and then closing it).

I’ve used several different things to support my Monstera, the last one: a shower 🤷‍♀️😅
