# Just purchased this Alocasia, labeled amazonica, but looks like…

_Posted by Tom on 2025-10-19_

Just purchased this Alocasia, labeled amazonica, but looks like ninja, does anyone have this version, if so do you think it is. It’s only small in 5cm pot so leaves are small at the moment but ai searches say it’s ninja and I’ve looked at some ninja pictures and looks the same, some ninjas have a darker leave or variegated, but does look darker in the middle , so with age I think may go blackish

Yes I agree it’s a baby ninja and will darken eventually
