# My Frydek put out a pure white leaf I had to cut, its oldest leaf…

My Frydek put out a pure white leaf I had to cut, its oldest leaf just died so I had to cut it off too. Luckily I see a new leaf with green coming in but I decided to cut a plastic cup to fit over it to boost its humidity while it’s going through this tough time.

Aw rats. I have one growing from a corm too. The first leaf is wilting and it’s making me sad. But I think it’s fairly common for young alocasia to only be able to support 3 leaves at a time. It’s so stressful when they’re this small! I also used a plastic cup dome, so I think that’s a good move
