In general, they need medium to bright-indirect light. I put my Alocasia dragon scale close the window like that and didn’t last too long😔 So, treat it like you would a Pothos which also takes bright-indirect light.

Also don’t mist them; it messes with their leaves for some reason

Maybe too much sun or dry air.
