This alocasia has done me no wrong being in soil— my Black Velvet however, might be my stepping stone into trying Pon.

I feel you with that one, my black velvet is such a drama queen 😭

I chopped it down to the rhizome towards the end of last year bc it was just not giving what it was supposed to \& kept it in water until like March.  
It gave me a beautiful first leaf \& the second one looked like this 💀 ++ THE FIRST LEAF IS ALREADY DECLINING 😭😭

Noooo 😭

Mines leaves are dying off slowly despite giving it similar care to my other Alocasia but it just loves to be the drama

My micans was on a vertical trellis but I recently switched it to a circular one :)
