# Hi, I have two alocasia frydeks. Both are sold as half to 3/4 moons.…

Hi, I have two alocasia frydeks. Both are sold as half to 3/4 moons. On both the past couple leaves are coming out all white. I know that’s not a great thing. What should I do? I love these little guys.

I have learned to protect all white variegated leaves from the sun. If you have somewhere shady, the white leaves coooould possibly last longer? But if the white ones wither and die, that’s okay. There’s nothing you can do but make sure it’s happy and keeps popping up leaves and that they’ll have more green. I would also contact the seller and let them know what’s happening now and if it continues to give white leaves and doesn’t survive, maybe they could send you another one?
