# Hi! I got a few small alocasias in February that I’m a little worried…

Hi! I got a few small alocasias in February that I’m a little worried about, i originally kept all of them in my indoor greenhouse but it seemed like a few of them didn’t appreciate it (I wasn’t sure if it was the humidity, sun intensity, or my watering schedule) either way I took them out and out them with my main group of plants (I believe the window they are in is east/ southeast) I water them about once a week (I let the water run through the bottom and put them back) and keep my greenhouse pretty humid during the day (I let it air out at night as i haven’t gotten around to ordering any fans for it) but now that they aren’t in there the humidity is definitely less. I have a few older ones that are doing fine in my greenhouse and even one of the baby’s is still in there doing well though so I’m just a little confused. Do you all have any advice for these specific ones as they are doing the worst out of my collection.
(Also sorry for the long paragraph I have a hard time deciding what’s important and what’s not lol)
Thank you in advance!

big paragraphs are awesome, they give the most context so this stuff is easier to figure out!!!!
these ones are probably struggling due to their position. the larger pots surrounding them are casting shadows and the alocasias aren't getting enough light. i highly recommend going on amazon and finding one of those cheap plant shelves. i thought it was kinda dumb at first but having a shelf for them has changed everything !! and i would try to see if misting them regularly helps boost their humidity a little. it may be time to fertilize, too.

I moved them there because it was afraid they were getting too much light, do you think it would be okay for me to move them back into the greenhouse, I don’t want them to lose anymore leaves then they already have. Fertilizing is pretty new to me despite the number of plants I have, what fertilizer would you recommend?
