My elephant ear is working on its fifth leaf without dropping any old ones! Lush!

It does want to lean a bit (hence the stick) so I wonder if it needs a deeper pot.

What’s the root situation? Are they growing out the bottom of the pot?

Not quite yet, but I can see them at them through the drainage holes. I repotted it last year and it had a very good root system.

Oh my, how have you been able to keep the leaves so full and healthy? How long have you had this plant? Any special care tips?

I got it in July and for the first six months it stayed at three leaves, losing the oldest one every time it get a new one. It’s honestly been so easy and low maintenance! I water it maybe every 3 weeks. I’ve repotted it once. I think it’s just maturing so it’s able to hold onto its leaves.
