I need some help identifying this Alocasia! The app thinks it’s an elephant ear (alocasia wentii), the leaves just looked a little more pointy to me than most elephant ears I’ve seen.

This was dying in my local Lowe’s, but after cleaning it up some leaves are really gorgeous! First alocasia so any tips \& tricks are recomended. I haven’t watered or repotted since bringing home, it’s in peat moss nursery special potting. I’ve got it in quarantine with lots of windows and my aquarium lights and it seems to be perking up!

Curious if you notice any aerial roots?could be a philodendron..

Here is the base, I haven’t taken it out of the pot so I don’t know what the roots look like but they don’t seem to be climbing out of the soil anywhere

I’m amazed, literally at Lowe’s on the clearance shelf. Brought it home for $13

That’s a great buy! A bulb sells for $20. A 2 gallon pot sells for $50!
