# Hi all! I have a lil baby Odora Batik that has suddenly started…

Hi all! I have a lil baby Odora Batik that has suddenly started dropping leaves after a new one popped in. No changes in location/humidity/temp, etc. I was reading it normal for immature plants to lose leaves once a new one pops in- is that the case?

You’re correct. As the plant becomes more mature and gets past a certain number of leaves it should kind of stop doing the make a leaf loose a leaf business. It may make two leaves and loose one…ect

Okay, good to know!! I have several alocasias but haven’t ever had any this young so I wasn’t sure. Thank you!
