# So this is the first time I’ve ever had an alocasia and I think it…

So this is the first time I’ve ever had an alocasia and I think it might be sunburnt the soil is good and I don’t water too frequently. But I noticed that in front of my grow light they have gotten crispy around the edges should I move the plant to a lower light area?

First, change your Planta settings to “yes” for using a grow light, if you’re using Planfa to help with the care schedule.

Second, can you move the plant further back from the grow light?
