hi im pretty new please help 🥺 why is my black velvet turning yellow(the bigger leaf)? I rarely water it it has a lot of humidity, im thinking it may be a light issue, if so please let me know, i can definitely put grow lights up thank you 🙏🏻☺️

Alocasia’s sometimes have a weird “1 in 1 out” situation. With your new leaf I’m gonna guess its putting all its energy into that and letting the other one die off.

They also don’t like to dry out, so maybe increase your watering frequency and water when 50% dry. (Unless your humidity keeps it from drying out!)
