_Posted by OKC Pot Head Realtor on 2024-10-15_

I’ve got a few alocasias that are flowering (some buds already out and some still budding), but this is the first time I’ve ever had it happen. Any suggestions on the best way to care for them while they are flowering? I’ve heard to cut them off. I’ve heard if you cut them off the whole plant will die. Any info helps!

I always cut mine off and my Alocasia’s are doing fine.

But I’m sure there are pros and cons to both!

Not really sure there is a difference if you do or don't cut them; Personally I just let nature take its course and do its thing...
