I just got my alocasia and have been having issues with the leaves browning on the edges. Here’s some notes I took on the plants care after some research.

Prefers to completely/mostly dry between waterings  
Likes humidity  
INDIRECT bright light. Leaves will burn with direct light.  
Switch to distilled water if leaves continue to brown on edges. Tap even if filtered can still harm plant.
