# can someone tell me why my adult alocasia is growing two baby leafs…

can someone tell me why my adult alocasia is growing two baby leafs that aren’t even unfurling? I’m aware I have a baby plant growing on the left, but I’m not sure why the leaves on the adult plant aren’t full size? thanks! :)
