# I brought home and Alocasia Bambino from the grocery store last night…

I brought home and Alocasia Bambino from the grocery store last night (I know, regretting it already!) and I have seen 3 bugs in my office today 😩 Does anyone know what this is? I repotted it immediately into my Molly’s mix. It had plugs. At this point I’m worried about my other plants more than this surviving.

Spray everything with a soapy water solution or neem oil each week including the soil. Isolate the plant for 3 to 4 weeks.

Right. I have never had Thrips but that’s what I think they are. Although they’re bigger than all the articles I’ve read describe them to be. I’ve been cleaning all the plants in my office and will continue to do so weekly for the next 60 days 😩

yes that’s thrips big mean ones too so likely there are babies embedded in the leaves munching away from inside out

How far can they fly? Should I worry about plants in the living room if they are in the kitchen?

Bonide seems to be working. Though my lemon lime maranta hates it and gave me a few yellow leaves
