# Hi there… I am very new to Sphagnum moss. Wondering if you need to…

Hi there… I am very new to Sphagnum moss. Wondering if you need to change it? Does it get moldy if left in the same moss?Also new to this plant. Started these from a corm and wondering if these grow slow… They seem to be at a standstill..

If it turns slimy u change it. Add some slow release fertilizer in there as well.

Check out some of Wild Fern’s videos on YouRube she uses a lot of sphagnum and has good tips on when to repot, etc. she does a lot of miss poles too. I found her channel a few months ago and have learned a lot. She also responded to my email when I had a pest issue. Good luck 🍀
