Sooooooo met with a lady from marketplace to get this plant. I knew it was an alocasia but which variant I didn’t know, and still don’t know exactly. So anyways. She kept telling me it was an “Angel Wing” I just agreed with her so I could leave lol she sold it to me for $10. Of course I took it and RANNNNNN AWAYYYYY cause I know what it is…..sort of lol when I scan it in Planta, it keeps telling me it’s a frydek, I don’t think it’s. Auseni have one and it doesn’t look like this and is lacking variegation lol. Now Planta tells me it’s a maxkowski. Idk. Someone help. What is this alocasia lol

It's a xanthosoma lindenii

Definitely. I just looked it up. Same plant, pot and everything at Home Depot is $42 lol

This is a caladium, Angel Wing. They ars in the same plant family as Alocasia but different genus. 🙂

Phyllotaenium lindenii magnificum i believe is the latest name. Xanthosoma is the older name. It is not an alocasia. The name says it all. It is a magnificent plant. Not rare.
