i am wondering what type of alocasia i have? it was labeled as a black magic at the store.. but she seems too “shiny” almost to be like the ones in the pictures. and maybe a bit more purple (but that’s also the flash).  
side note: she will be getting new soil/pot, it is coming soon plz don’t judge😅 i know she looks SO SAD rn. but if you know if the self watering pot from gardenix decor on amazon is good then plz lmk so i don’t kill her. and she is my first alocasia so any tips are welcomed. TIA

Looks like a Azlanii to me, but I'm no expert. She is beautiful 😍

I can see that! Much closer resemblance than the black magic or black velvet

Beautiful plant. I've noticed anytime I repot an alocasia they are very dramatic. Sometimes all the leaves fall off but they almost always grow back
