# Anyone know why the tip of this philodendron Congo turned brown? It…

Anyone know why the tip of this philodendron Congo turned brown? It was in the indoor patio against the wall so maybe sunburnt? I moved it indoors so it gets less direct light. It’s growing all over but I don’t know why two tips turned brown. Should I cut them?

yes it looks like a sunburn

the damage will probably cease growth on those particular leaves so you could cut the edges off so they blend in with the plant

My guess is that leaf above it was dripping water (from guttation) on that leaf making it wet and more susceptible to sunburn.
