Mistake No. 1: follow my favorite local nursery on Facebook.
Mistake No 2: think I could stay away when they post a new shipment of indoor plants.

Anyway, long story short, I have two new friends, and I just don’t know HOW it happened…….🤪

Second photo for those who might wonder:

Alternanthera ficoidea Blood leaf 'Party Time', also known as Joseph's Coat or Parrot Leaf

I wish you luck with Party Time. Nice looking plant but we could not connect. I began with three small starter plants. Became leggy so I tried propagating. Never did well. Always dropping leaves. I think the problem is they need high humidity. My humidifier wasn’t enough though. My calatheas and begonias were fine.

I have it in my bathroom so I hope it’s humid enough 😬

Mistake #3: Repeat Mistakes 1 and 2 over and over until your house is a jungle...

What? I can’t hear you between all these plants.
