Can anyone help me ID my new philodendron? I remember the name starting with V but forgot exactly what it’s called, and the plant scan isn’t giving me correct results. Thank you! 🌱

i thiiiink this is a thaumatophyllum radiatum — not quite a split leaf

funny — big day for thaumatophyllum on planta. there were some recent botanical developments that moved a lot of plants formerly known as philodendron to the thaumatophyllum genus, and i believe this is one of them

Thank you so much! Not sure where I was getting a V name from, but I believe this is it.😆 Thank you for that info about the genus change, that is helpful context!

I love it! They like to climb i think — you could have a GIANT plant on your hands someday lol
