# My Pink Princess looks great, but the new leaves are coming out…

My Pink Princess looks great, but the new leaves are coming out brown. I have her in the hall with lots of light all day from a sky light. Watering doesn’t seem to be a problem, and I don’t see any bugs. Any advice??

Do you have pics? Are they shriveled or crispy brown or shiny kind of bronzed brown? New leaves on these are kind of brownish before they harden off (red + green = brown) but if it’s the crispy or shriveled kind of brown, then there’s a problem

No pics right now (I’m at work hehe), but the leaves are shiny and bronze/brown. Nothing is crispy or shriveled.

Sounds like you’re in good shape then! As the new leaves harden off \& reach their full size they’ll darken up and that bronze will fade away

yeah they’re just kind of ugly when they’re born LOL
