If you’re not attaching any roots to the actual pole itself, then it’s going to take a while to root it itself to the pole if ever

How can I attach it?

You can use a Bobby pin, Velcro plant tape(my personal fav), or string ! Once they root, you can remove it, and it will start climbing all on its own! Watch Sydney plant guy on YouTube if you need more or just want to learn how to elevate your moss pole journey

They may occasionally need some help attaching themselves still
