# Just picked up a philodendron Rojo Congo. I have heard they are hard…

Just picked up a philodendron Rojo Congo. I have heard they are hard to grow. Any suggestions to keep my baby happy? I currently have her in my living room next to my sliding door. In full indirect light.

Mine has been relatively low maintenance. It might be a bit unstable until it roots better so I staked mine just to support its weight a bit to keep it from flopping over. When it started putting out the longer aerial roots I just redirected them back into the soil and it’s helped support the main stalk

I have mine outside and it’s loving the full eastern exposure and lots of humidity.
