I got this birkin about 1 month ago from a nursery in Markham ON...it came into my home with a minor mealy bug infestation. 1 month later it is pushing out what looks like 2 new leaves from the same stem!?! Is that even possible? The one leaf is still in the process of unfurling, but today I noticed what looks like a second leaf emerging from the same sheathing? Is this normal?? Would love to know lol!! Thanks in advance 🍃❤️

I think the second, more reddish one, is a “flower” not a leaf

In my experience- the pinks are sheaths and often a new leaf starts to emerge before the last is fully unfurled.
