# I got a Pink princess philodendron for 10.99 at Trader Joe’s!!! 🩷🥰…

I got a Pink princess philodendron for 10.99 at Trader Joe’s!!! 🩷🥰

Also, asking any of you philodendron pros, I would rather not repot right away because of the stress and all that but the soil is very wet and peat mossy. What do you think?

I always repot right away! I like to have control over the growing medium and see what’s going on with the roots. Sure it can be a little stressful but my thought is to get all the stressful events out of the way at once. It hasn’t failed me yet! Good luck 💚

I always repot right away! It’s never in the right soil or watered properly at the stores so I light to get it into my preferred mix right away and know it’s in dry stuff and not sitting rotting in likely overwatered soil since they often water the plants every single day. Never had one die in me!

Ugh I hate that peat moss stuff. Imo it only works in optimized greenhouses conditions with super high ventilation, high heat, and high light levels. I’d recommend repotting right away. It always melts my plant’s roots if I try to keep it in there in my home
