# I picked up both a Golden Crocodile and a Ring of Fire on clearance…

_Posted by Hopper House on 2026-08-21_

I picked up both a Golden Crocodile and a Ring of Fire on clearance recently and decided they belonged together. Has anyone else done this? I know it’s going to get big(ger) but in the interest of saving space I thought one large plant might be better than 2! They are also on a wide moss pole so they can hopefully climb too!

They might compete for nutrients but she is gorgeous like that! Just keep a close eye on them. And you are right about size. You will likely be doing a lot of repotting 😂 The croc grows crazy fast!
