Just got my first philodendron pink princess from Trader Joe’s (for only $10.99!!) but it looks like the soil has mold. Is it okay to repot immediately or should I wait a few days for her to acclimate to my home?

She’s so pretty! I would wait a few days before repotting so she can acclimate to your home and then repot her☺️if the mold on top of the soil is bothering you that much you can take it off the top in the meantime!

That yellow fungus isn’t harmful to plants! If you hate it you can sprinkle a little cinnamon - a natural antifungal - but in my experience eventually this will come back. Or just pick it off like Alexandra suggested

Ooo I’ve never heard of that cinnamon trick, thank you!!
