# Hey all! I picked up this little guy at a local plant shop for $5 but…

Hey all! I picked up this little guy at a local plant shop for $5 but with no name and nobody seemed to know what he is outside of “mystery philodendron.” Plant identifier app keeps saying Blushing Philodendron but it also identifies my Painted Lady the same way lol. Can you please tell me what he is. Thanks! Btw: his stems are pinkish/redish if that helps not sure pictures are showing that.

Red Congo maybe?

Could be a red Congo, like Amy said. It’s a bit hard to tell until they get their mature leaf shape and growth pattern. Luckily most of the look-alike philodendrons will have pretty much the same care needs
