# Hi Plant Friends! 🪴 I just picked up this Tortum at my local…

Hi Plant Friends! 🪴 I just picked up this Tortum at my local Anderson’s nursery. Any tipis for this new guy? I’ve sprayed it down with insecticidal soap, but didn’t water it because it’s still moist. I plan to repot it in Molly’s mix once it’s acclimated. Any and all suggestions and tips on light, potting in Molly’s, watering, etc. are appreciated!

Yours is so much bigger than mine!!!! I’ve had mine for a few months, it’s pretty easy. Mine has done well about 2 ft from a west facing window - it also lived under a grow light with a light reading at about 575FC. I’ve watered when dry and run a humidifier near by.

These do like to dry out a bit  
In my experience and a nice indirect light and will do fine.
