# Found this white wizard philodendron for $20 at the grocery store. I…

Found this white wizard philodendron for $20 at the grocery store. I love it so much!! It did come with what looks like little spider mite webs so it is completely isolated from my collection of 40+ plants. I made sure to spray with a mix of alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, castille soap, neem oil, and warm water. Fingers crossed that gets rid of the mites!!

This is the first philodendron in my collection so tips are greatly appreciated. It’s by the window and has a grow light since the days are still shorter.

Good job I also use systemic granules after seeing a few different plant influencers recommend them and it really works.

I also use systemic one time and then spray with dawn, alcohol, water solution.

How do you make up the spray of Dawn and alcohol in your water solution? Any tips on using the spray and are there possible side effects? Thanks for the info.

It’s 1 part rubbing alcohol, 5 parts water, and 1 tablespoon liquid soap. I use dawn. I’ve had no issues. I spray under and around.
