Hi guys - I'm a very new philodendron parent and trying to do the research, my sister is a plant momma so I've been asking her for a lot of advice as well but I'm starting to question some of that advice. She said they really like to be root-bound in small plastic pots, but I'm reading just the opposite - Larger clay or terracotta pots. My PPP is starting to yellow a bit too, I'm thinking she needs a new pot. Any other advice?

I took that picture while I was bottom watering it - I let it sit in the water for an hour and then take it out. But l occasionally will top water it because I know bottom watering doesn't flush out the minerals.

Gotcha! I think I'll repot in a slightly larger pot then, leaning on the direction of clay, concrete or terracotta. Something porous. Thank you!
