# Please help. I got a couple of dying plants on clearance from a big…

Please help.

I got a couple of dying plants on clearance from a big box store, including this big Philodendron. It had little bugs in the soil, a slug, and spotting on the leaves. I treated it for pests and put it in bright light on an east facing window. Does anyone know what is causing those spots or what I can do to ensure it survives?

Any advice is welcome as this is my first large plant.
