mine is the left. was sold to me as a painted lady. looks very different than the painted lady on the right. does it just need time to mature, or what did I buy??? 😅😅

Looks more like an imperial red, but could be wrong. The petioles, internodes, and leaf shape do look different between the two plants tho.

That looks more like a black cardinal or royal queen.100% not a painted lady

It could be. They also have those bronze-ish emergent leaves

Looks a lot like my Philo Rojo Congo. I have a pink lady and it looks exactly like the plant on the right.
