# White knight cutting Cut late December 2023 2 leaves Optimal light…

White knight cutting  
Cut late December 2023  
2 leaves  
Optimal light

Leaves look great, but one root (larger root) looks rotted! Stem was slimy, removed all water and washed stems. 2 little roots still look good.

Really worried about this! Any tips on reducing root rot?

There appears to be the start of a leaf on the stem of the pic, but not sure.

Any advise is appreciated!

How often are you changing the water?

Every 2 weeks

I would change it every week at max
