# Hi all! I recently picked this friend up from a local grocery store…

Hi all! I recently picked this friend up from a local grocery store and it was just labeled “large foliage” per usual 🙄 I was sure it’s a Red Congo but planta keeps saying it’s a PPP…. Now I might be thinking it could be a McColleys Finale?? Could anyone help me confirm what this baby is? Thanks to all! 🪴

It kinda looks like a mccoleys finale, but yours is super dark so im leaning towards red congo heres a picture of my mccoleys as a comparison

Not to throw even more possibilities out there, but it looks like my imperial red philodendron to me

Thank you! Didn’t even think about that one.. I’m hoping that once my new leaf emerges it will help clarify things as well

Yeah, that will help! A McColleys will have a bright red/orange leaf but an imperial will have a dark red/burgundy leaf

Looks identical to my imperial red, I think that’s definitely what it is

I don’t think it’s dark enough to be a Red Congo. Here’s mine
