# This birkin has been suffering for months and I don't know what to…

This birkin has been suffering for months and I don't know what to do! I try to be consistent with watering but once I overwatered it and now I’m always afraid of doing that again. The new leaves have been struggling to come alive. I keep it indoors, I’m in the Bay Area. Help please?

Try a looser soil. Mine is basically 50% pearlite and orchid bark. They really like to dry out between waterings.

I would also check for pests

I did ! I took out the old soil cleaned the roots and replaced the soil ! I didn't see any pests. Anything I could notice?
