# Hello I was wondering if someone could help me ID this plant? The app…

Hello I was wondering if someone could help me ID this plant? The app tells me it’s a PPP but then I’ve been told it’s a White Knight but then also told a Red Andersen so now I’m totally confused. I have 2 PPP and this one don’t look like them.

I went through the “is it a white knight or a ppp?” Saga. I feel your pain! The red stem tells me it’s one or the other. The abundance of white makes me think it’s a white knight but the elongated leaves remind me of the princess. The knights are shorter and rounder. My ppp has no white but my knight has a little patch of pink. I’ve read that if the knight has any pink it’s a white princess. But I’m not sure I believe that. They are mutations and mutations can be unreliable. I actually went and got a white princess just so I could look at all three together and see the differences. (And I just love Philos. The more the merrier lol) The white princess has a green stem. Keep researching and observing. You’ll come to a conclusion eventually. It’s a beautiful plant no matter what it is 😊

So I just googled red Anderson and that is definitely a possibility! 🤗

Thank you! And yes it is gorgeous I have a Prince of Orange, 2 PPP and now this one that I’m unsure what she is lol😁

Sorry I wasn’t really helpful but now that I’ve seen the red Anderson, my vote is for that one LOL! Thanks for showing me a new philo! I wonder why that one didn’t get a royal name 🙃

Yeah I’m thinking Red Anderson. She didn’t get a royal name but she definitely got the royal beauty 😍😍 lol

I feel like Red Anderson leaves are usually a darker green, though maybe that’s not universal? I feel 99% certain it’s not a PPP. I’m leaning toward White Knight.

Lol at this point I’m going to name it White Anderson 🤣 because I can seem to figure out for sure what she is

Beautiful plant, I think you have a white knight philo. If she had darker leaves I would think PPP, but the shape of the leaves and darker stalks tells me knight
