still new to philodendrons, just bought this and noticed this water filled boil on one of the leaves, was thinking about cutting the leaf but i wanna know what it is and possibly what caused it

It’s overwatered, let it dry completely before you water it again.

Oy. Overwatered. Maybe root rot. Check soil/roots. And yes to what she said 👆🏻.
