this is your sign to CHOP THAT PLANT!! I know it seems scary to cut up your babies but it promotes new growth like crazy! my heart leaf philodendron went from being a leggy mess to full and beautiful in just WEEKS after chopping some of her ends. I also propagated the ends I cut and re-planted them in the same pot so that she would look bigger \& fuller!

Love it! Which ends did you chop? I recently bought one and think I need to give it a trim

I just chopped the ends that looked a little long/leggy. make sure to chop below the node so that the plant can put out new growth!

i just did this to experiment with soil vs water props!! my heart leaf has been putting off lots of shoots and unfurling new leaves like crazy!
