I brought this plant home three weeks ago. Last one died after 3 yr. Now 1/4 of this plant died off since bringing it home. But it seems some of it had been growing. It this normal?

My exact plant has also just been randomly been dropping leaves too, not yellow or anything. Yet it has a leaf unfurling. It’s the same size as yours. Any ideas ?

I have had this happen with 2 of my 3 attempts with this plant, for me humidity helped a ton, and appropriate pot size as well but that doesn’t seem to be an issue here. Having a humidifier going for a couple days totally turned my luck around.

have you repotted it? philos like pretty airy soil, i would check on the roots to make sure theres no rot

I checked the roots some had rotted. But I think the rest of the plant is fine. The sun broke through the clouds today. I put my plant outside, maybe it will dry out a little. Not to wet to repot.

I might be the weather changed. It went from bright and sunny to June gloom. It looks like the soil is staying wet longer. With the weather here I usually water my plant every 2 weeks. I last watered it when it was warmer. I struggle with the weather here. It can be very unpredictable.

Thank you for the advice. Maybe I’ll try misting more?

The leaves are so vibrant, I would think it’s getting enough sun. I’d cut back the watering a lil and just water once it’s dried out a lil.

Thank you!!! I was thinking I might need to let it dry out more. When I had my other one and before I was on is app, I let it dry out. I watered every 2 weeks or so. When I was doing that it looked happy

My leaves are dropping but they are not yellow
