I got this pink princess back in December and it’s finally starting to unwrap a new leaf! But it’s got this long strand coming from the tip of it that got me questioning. Is this normal?

It may be a little deformed when it unrolls. It almost looks like the leaf didn’t fully form. My guess is that little string is the leaf’s midvein and it will turn black eventually. That leaf will probably not be whole. I’ll post some pics to try and show you what I’m saying.

Ah I figured that might be the case. Could it be a sign of something or just a chance event, do you know? Thank you for the quick response :)

Pink princess leaves can be finicky. Sometimes it’s low humidity or watering issues. Even if you follow the Planta schedule to a T though the plant will still act up. I have 4 of them and they all do it no matter how hard I try.
