# My birkin is getting these weird white/gray/brownish spots on its…

My birkin is getting these weird white/gray/brownish spots on its leaves, and as you can see on the second picture there’s some cracks happening as well. Mafalda is my first plant so I have no idea what I’m doing as a first time plant mom 😭

I’d appreciate some tips and help!

The first pic looks like a tear or just mechanical damage (from touching too much or playing with the leaf before it comes out of the sheath — guilty here myself!) The second pic just looks like natural leaf growth — sometimes they just grow funky. Overall the plant looks great!
