Rescued this guy from Kroger on clearance to see if I could save him. Last picture is the day that I brought it home. First two is taken today. I snipped the stem on the left slightly, but left everything else alone and repotted with new soil.

I have a new stem now popping out on the left. The right leaf is well, not looking great. I just started my plant journey about a month ago so I’m a beginner and not sure if I should leave it alone or snip everything but the new growth. What would you do?
